Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using EG Medlink Courier Services. These terms govern your use of our website and engagement of our courier services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or engaging EG Medlink Courier Services for courier services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
EG Medlink Courier Services provides independent medical courier services, including medical delivery, laboratory and diagnostic support, senior delivery, clinic and healthcare facility services, and support for Rhode Island’s wider healthcare network, within our coverage area in Rhode Island. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or organization at our discretion, including requests that fall outside our coverage area or service capabilities.
3. Service Area & Availability
Our services are available within approximately a 20-mile radius of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Coverage may vary. Contact us to confirm availability in your specific location.
While we strive to be available 24/7, we cannot guarantee availability at all times. We will communicate any limitations or delays as promptly as possible.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for: ensuring packages are properly sealed and labeled before pickup, providing accurate pickup and delivery addresses, disclosing any special handling requirements (e.g., temperature-sensitive items), and ensuring that all items tendered for delivery comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Clients must not tender for delivery any illegal substances, hazardous materials not disclosed in advance, or items that violate federal, state, or local law.
5. Handling of Medical Items
We handle medical packages with care and professionalism. We do not open sealed packages. Clients are responsible for proper packaging of all items, including temperature-sensitive medications and sealed specimen containers.
EG Medlink Courier Services is not responsible for damage resulting from improper packaging by the client.
6. Liability Limitations
EG Medlink Courier Services carries general liability insurance. However, our liability for lost or damaged packages is limited to the documented value of the contents, not to exceed limits specified in our service agreement.
We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, road closures, or acts of nature.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
7. Payment Terms
Payment terms are established at the time of service agreement. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to a service charge.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all client information and delivery details as confidential. We do not disclose client information to third parties except as required by law or as necessary to complete the requested delivery.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a service relationship with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to immediately terminate service in cases of non-payment, misuse, or violation of these terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Rhode Island.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
